ACCA September 2026 exam

This is my first sitting and I keep hearing the acca september exam dates are creeping up fast, so I'm trying to picture what the actual day looks like before I panic. For those who have sat CBEs at a centre, how early should I turn up and what do they actually check at the desk? I am sitting SBR and I get nervous about the whole logistics side more than the paper itself.

+1 to arriving early. The parking/finding-the-room stress is real and eats into your calm.

same nerves my first time. Bring water in a clear bottle, label off. And lock the exact centre time from your exam docket don't trust what a mate tells you, the confirmed timing is on the docket ACCA emails you.

One thing nobody told me: you get 10 mins of reading/prep before the clock starts on some CBEs, don't waste it. Also the centre gives you laminated sheets and a pen, you can't bring your own paper in.

Get there at least 45 mins early, honestly. They check your ID (make sure the name matches your ACCA registration exactly) and your docket. For SBR the scratchpad and the on-screen calculator are your friends ..practice using the CBE tools beforehand so you're not fumbling on the day.
