Chartered Accountancy (CA)
India's most respected qualification in accounting and finance
Chartered Accountancy (CA)
Globally Recognised · Self-Paced
The Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is one of the most respected professional certifications in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management. Designed for students and aspiring finance professionals, the CA program provides comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting, corporate law, taxation, auditing standards, and business strategy.
The CA course typically consists of multiple examination levels that combine theoretical learning with practical training, helping candidates develop strong analytical, technical, and professional skills. Through a structured curriculum and rigorous examinations, the program prepares individuals to handle complex financial matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial advice to organizations.
A Chartered Accountant can pursue diverse career opportunities in areas such as public accounting, corporate finance, auditing, taxation, consulting, and financial advisory. Professionals holding the CA qualification are highly valued by accounting firms, multinational corporations, financial institutions, and government organizations.
At Professional Career Club, we provide CA course guidance, study strategies, and community discussions to help students better understand the qualification and support their journey toward becoming a successful accounting professional.

Everything you need to know
Why should you pursue CA?
The CA qualification is the most prestigious accounting and
finance credential in India and commands deep respect across South Asia, the
Middle East, and Commonwealth markets. It is more than an accounting
qualification — it is a full-spectrum finance education covering taxation,
audit, law, financial reporting, and strategic finance.
•
The only qualification legally required to sign
statutory audit reports in India — making CAs irreplaceable in corporate
governance.
•
Extraordinary return on investment: the qualification
costs a fraction of an MBA yet opens CFO-level and Big Four career doors.
•
Articleship provides real-world experience inside CA
firms, corporates, and Big Four before you even qualify — giving you a 2-3 year
head start on your peers.
•
No upper age limit means career changers can pursue CA
at any stage.
•
Opens entrepreneurship as a direct path — a CA licence
is a business in itself; you can set up independent practice from day one.
•
Globally transferable: many countries (UK, UAE, Canada,
Australia) have mutual recognition agreements with ICAI for fast-track
pathways.
•
ACCA awards up to 9 exemptions to qualified CAs, making
dual qualification achievable in 12–18 months.

What are the rules for rescheduling CA?
•
CA exams are conducted on fixed dates nationally —
there is no individual exam appointment to reschedule like in CBT-based exams.
•
If you miss an exam, you must re-apply for the next
available exam window and pay the exam form fee again.
•
ICAI allows a student to skip an attempt — you do not
lose your registration by not appearing.
•
Registration is valid for a fixed period (currently 5
years for Intermediate; 10 years for Final under new scheme — check SSP for
your specific case).
