Professional Career Club (PCC) is a free global community built for students and professionals pursuing CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA, FRM, CFP, CWM, and other finance and accounting qualifications. Our forum and community features exist to help you study smarter, connect with peers, and advance your career.

These Community Guidelines exist to ensure that PCC remains a safe, respectful, and genuinely useful space for everyone. By participating in any community feature — including the forum, comments, resource sharing, and messaging — you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. The Core Principle

Engage as you would with a respected colleague or study group. PCC is a professional community. The standard we hold ourselves and each other to is: would this be appropriate in a professional workplace or examination preparation setting? If yes, it's welcome here.

2. Be Respectful & Inclusive
  • Treat all members with courtesy, regardless of their background, exam level, nationality, gender, religion, race, or experience level.
  • Constructive disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, insults, or condescending language are not.
  • Do not belittle members who are at an earlier stage of their studies or career. Everyone starts somewhere.
  • Celebrate others' achievements — PCC is a community that builds each other up.
  • Do not discriminate or post content that demeans any group of people.
3. Stay On Topic & Add Value
  • Post content that is relevant to the forum category or thread topic.
  • Before creating a new thread, search to see if the question has already been answered.
  • Share resources, study tips, exam experiences, and career insights that genuinely help others.
  • Avoid low-effort posts such as single-word responses, excessive memes, or content that contributes nothing to the discussion.
  • Personal anecdotes and experiences are welcome — they make the community real and relatable.
4. No Spam, Promotion, or Solicitation
  • Do not post unsolicited advertisements, affiliate links, or promotional content for any product or service.
  • Posting links to your own content, website, or business is permitted only when it is directly relevant to the discussion and adds genuine value to the community.
  • Do not mass-message other members with promotions, solicitations, or irrelevant links.
  • Repeated self-promotion will result in content removal and, on repeat offences, account suspension.
5. Protect Exam Integrity

This is one of our most important guidelines. As candidates for globally recognised professional qualifications, you have signed conduct agreements with bodies such as CFA Institute, AICPA, ACCA, ICAI, and GARP. PCC takes exam integrity seriously and actively enforces the following:

  • Never share live exam questions. Sharing questions you encountered in a current or recent exam is a breach of your candidate agreement and potentially illegal. Accounts found doing this will be permanently banned and may be reported to the relevant body.
  • Do not share or request restricted materials. This includes leaked question banks, braindumps, or any content claimed to be from current or upcoming examinations.
  • Do not reproduce copyrighted curriculum content. Official study notes, textbooks, and curriculum materials from CFA Institute, AICPA, ACCA, or others are copyrighted. Uploading or sharing substantial portions is prohibited.
  • Concept-based discussion is encouraged. Discussing concepts, formulas, frameworks, and study strategies is perfectly appropriate. The line is sharing actual live examination content.
6. No Misinformation
  • Do not intentionally share incorrect study advice, fabricated exam information, or misleading guidance about professional qualifications.
  • If you are not certain about something — especially regarding exam eligibility, registration, or syllabus details — indicate that clearly and encourage others to verify with official sources.
  • Correct errors you notice respectfully; do not shame others for mistakes.
7. Protect Privacy
  • Do not share personal information about other members without their consent.
  • Do not post other people's private messages, emails, or information publicly.
  • Do not share contact details of others or attempt to contact members outside the platform in an unsolicited manner.
  • Be mindful of what personal information you choose to share publicly in your own posts and profile.
8. No Harmful or Inappropriate Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on PCC:

  • Hate speech, threats, or content that incites violence or discrimination against any individual or group
  • Sexually explicit or inappropriate content
  • Graphic violent content
  • Content that glorifies illegal activity
  • Any content designed to harass, intimidate, or harm specific individuals
  • Impersonation of another person, professional, or organisation
  • Malicious links, files, or code
9. Professional Designations & Conduct

Many members of PCC hold or are pursuing professional designations (CFA charterholder, CPA, ACCA member, etc.). When discussing professional or ethical matters:

  • Do not claim credentials you do not hold.
  • Do not claim credentials you do not hold.
  • Uphold the spirit of the professional codes of ethics associated with your designation in your conduct on this platform.
10. Moderation & Enforcement

Consequences: Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, consequences may include:

  • A warning notification
  • Emporary suspension of posting privileges
  • Permanent account ban
  • Reporting to the relevant professional body (in cases of exam integrity violations)

We ask all members to participate in good faith — not just following the letter of these guidelines, but genuinely trying to contribute positively to the community. The best communities are built by people who give as much as they take. Share your knowledge, support fellow candidates, celebrate each other's milestones, and help make PCC a community you are proud to be part of.
