ACCA is a globally recognised professional accounting qualification that takes you from foundational accounting knowledge all the way to strategic-level financial leadership. Unlike many national qualifications, it is specifically designed for international careers — the same qualification is valued equally in London, Dubai, Singapore, Nairobi, and Mumbai. It is also one of the most flexible professional qualifications in existence, with exams four times a year, no upper age limit, and a structure that works around full-time employment.

Everything you need to know

Why should you pursue this?

Recognised in 180+ countries — the most internationally portable accounting qualification available.

Flexible exam structure: 13 papers across 3 levels, offered four times per year (March, June, September, December). Study at your own pace.

No upper age limit and accessible from Class 12 or even Class 10 (via FIA route).

Indian CAs receive up to 9 exemptions, enabling dual ACCA + CA qualification in 12–18 months.

Formal Approved Employer Programme with Big Four, banks, and corporates worldwide who fund ACCA studies and provide work experience.

Note: ACCA is redesigning its qualification with changes from July 2027. Students registering in 2026 follow the current 13-paper structure. All progress carries over.

Maximum sittings: You can attempt each paper up to four times — after four failures, additional time and a review are required before a fifth attempt.
