ACCA December 2026 exam dates

am one of those people who likes everything locked in months ahead, so I'm already looking at the acca december exam dates to plan my study leave at work. Is there any real benefit to booking the moment entry opens, or does it not matter as long as you're before the standard deadline? Doing AFM and FM this sitting so I want the timing sorted.

Booked early last December, best decision. Also I found some free practice questions floating around on PCC that matched the AFM style well — worth a look while you plan.

Agree on early, but well, it depends on how sure you are you'll be ready. If there's a real chance you defer, waiting saves the hassle of rebooking. Either way check ACCA's site for the confirmed December window before you plan leave.

AFM + FM together is a big load, plan your leave carefully. I'd book early just so your preferred centre and time slot don't fill up — popular centres do run out of morning slots.

Main benefit of booking early is the cheaper early-entry fee — that alone paid for a decent revision kit for me. Beyond cost, booking early means you actually commit mentally, which sounds soft but it works.
