Exam Now Delivered via PSI (Not Pearson VUE)

GARP delivers the FRM exam through test-centre providers, and Pearson VUE is not one of them. On its FRM exam logistics page, GARP states that all other candidates must schedule through the provider PSI.

Which provider applies to you

• China Mainland, Hong Kong SAR China and Thailand: schedule via ATA.
• Everywhere else: schedule via PSI.

Why candidates get this wrong

Several other finance certifications do run through Pearson VUE, so candidates carrying over habits from another exam sometimes go looking for an FRM seat in the wrong system. The scheduling route that matters is the one GARP gives you after registration; going directly to a provider you assumed was correct is how people lose their preferred date.

Practical checklist

• Register with GARP first — scheduling opens through the provider only after registration.
• Confirm which provider covers your location before you start looking at dates.
• Book early. Seat availability at a given centre is finite, and Part I and Part II candidates compete for the same windows.
• Check ID and calculator rules on GARP's exam logistics page, not a provider's generic policy.
