How Can I Find Upcoming Research Conferences in Australia?

Hello everyone, can anyone suggest how I can find upcoming research conferences in Australia? I am looking for reliable platforms, websites, or resources that provide information about academic events, submission deadlines, and registration details. Any recommendations or personal experiences with Australian research conferences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Carter Benjamin, I recently attended a research conference in Australia, and my experience was really positive. If you're looking for upcoming academic events, I recommend checking Conference Alert: www.conferencealert.com/australia . It provides updated information on conferences across different research fields, including important details such as submission deadlines, registration dates, and event locations. I found it easy to use and helpful for planning my conference participation. I hope it helps you find a conference that matches your research interests. Good luck!

Depends heavily on your field honestly. I am in finance and for anything investment/risk related I follow CFA Society Australia and FINSIA's event calendars directly rather than generic conference sites. If you tell us your subject area someone here might know the specific body to follow.

check out the Australian Research Council website too, they sometimes list funded conferences and events. also if youre in a university, your library usually has a subscription to conference databases that arent public. worth asking a librarian, they know this stuff better than anyone

from what I have heard from people in australia, for general academic conferences across disciplines, WikiCFP and Conference Alerts are honestly the two used most. WikiCFP specifically has good filtering by country and field, and Australia has a decent number of listings especially around Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. If you're in a specific field (finance, engineering, whatever), most professional bodies also run their own conference calendars which tend to be more curated than the generic aggregator sites.
