also, Depends on the role. Front-office positions are still highly competitive, while some risk, compliance, and operations roles seem to have seen more hiring activity. Anyone here recently landed a finance job in Dubai?

There are opportunities, but I've also heard employers are receiving applications from all over the world. Good market, but definitely not an easy one to break into anymore.

I think the market has grown overall, but I wouldn't attribute it only to the regional conflicts. Dubai has been expanding as a financial hub for years, so multiple factors are at play.

There seems to be more hiring than a few years ago, especially in asset management, private banking, and fintech. That said, networking and relevant experience still matter a lot.

It's definitely become more competitive, but I'd say the bigger driver is Dubai's continued push to attract global financial firms. More opportunities, but also a much stronger talent pool.
