Does FVMA certification via CFI is worth it?

I want to understand for career growth does that certificate is worth it? If not are there any other additional courses excluding nism certification which I can do? For a career in finance field targeting asset management firms.

seen people use CFI courses mainly to fill knowledge gaps. They're practical, but I wouldn't expect them to carry the same weight as CFA or relevant internship experience. If budget is limited, focus on skills you can actually demonstrate during interviews.

If targeting asset management, I would prioritize learning equity research, financial statement analysis, and valuation over collecting certificates. Building a few stock pitch reports or company analyses can sometimes have a bigger impact than another certificate.

It depends on your goal. FVMA is good if you want to strengthen your financial modeling and valuation skills, but recruiters at most asset management firms usually recognize CFA much more than CFI certifications. I'd treat FVMA as a skill-building course rather than a credential that gets interviews.
